MOTIVES OF THE DELTA

SIGMA CHI FRATERNITY

1= 1 0 1 = 1

The underlying, fundam ental motive o f the fraternity is
the prom otion o f the practice o f straight unadulterated Chi
ropractic. S econdary only to this prim ordial principle is the
establishing and maintaining o f a uniform standard price fo r
Chiropractic adjustments. The Pacific Coast, the East and
the Central part o f our country each have a standard price
o f their own at present. Under these conditions the frater
nity strives to maintain this “ sectional standard” o f prices.
Ultimately a National Price Standard must he evolved. This
is our g o a l !

To cultivate a professional and fraternal sentiment
am ong C hiropractors, schools and students is another o f the
rudim entary principles. W e do not desire to hind the p ro
fession to a ‘code o f ethics’ but it is our aim to prom ote the
unwritten law o f brotherly feeling, unselfish co-operation and
wholehearted service to each other which makes for a united
profession . The attainment o f this solidity will enable us
to establish our noble p rofession as an absolute necessity to
suffering humanity.

Straight Chiropractic, standard prices, united, unfailing
co-operation and fraternalism all these and more are the big
broad principles which the Delta Sigma Chi seeks to inculcate
in the lives o f Chiropractors.

A big clean wholesome profession com posed o f clean
broadm inded men to becom e leaders in their various com
munities and to build the Chiropractic profession as strong
as G ibralter— to sw eep C hiropractic on to that m agnificent
future which is hers if we but co-operate steadfastly— these
are the motives o f the Delta Sigma Chi Fraternity.
